What Are Quilters Blogging About Today?

 Last week at Prayers and Squares we finished a couple of quilts and their backings and got them layered. I brought them home and they are now both quilted too. I haven’t got pictures of them quilted. They both still need bindings applied. That task will be done by another of the ladies. Both of the finishes are of the outdoor theme variety. The one with the birds already has a recipient in mind. The log cabin /woodland animals might end up as a fundraiser. We’ll have to decide about that later.

 Our Prayers and Squares group are so close to a couple of finishes. The Scrappy Stripes quilt now has its binding sewn to the front. It just needs the hand sewing to the back to declare it finished.

 The Woodland Panels quilt has all its borders on and quilted now. The binding is made and ready to sew on. 

The purples and pinks with aqua accents is coming along and almost ready to sew together.

And we started a new project. It’s a Maple Leaf quilt done with Toronto Maple Leafs fabric. It has a recipient already selected who ...
